Hacking and anarchy? Sounds about right. USA Network's Mr. Robot was captivating, thrilling, suspenseful, and one hundred percent amazing. The amount of craftsmanship put into the series was surreal.

It's visually mesmerizing. Watching it puts you in a trance, and the beautifully emotional yet hard hitting score just amps it up to another level.

It follows Elliott Alderson(Rami Malek) a cybersecurity engineer who struggles with social anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, and clinical depression as he is recruited by Mr. Robot(Christian Slater) to join fsociety an organization with the mission to eliminate all consumer debt.

This was one of the most complex stories I've ever seen. I didn't know what was happening in the first half of season 1 yet the series was so intriguing that I kept watching. I'm glad I did because from that point on it's like watching a spider slowly weave a web. Things came together so nicely.

This dark is a darker series than most, so I was surprised with how much I actually laughed. There's some dark humor in there that really got me. There's also some moments that'll leave you in tears. This is a very emotional series that explores the entire spectrum.

But the best part of the series had to be Elliott Alderson. Rami Malek absolutely kills it. I've liked him for a while, but this is by far his best performance. There's so much to the character and he just relishes in it. An equally as good performance was Christian Slater as Mr. Robot, and together they're even better.

In the end Mr. Robot proved to be an original and thrilling series with performances for the ages. Mr. Robot it's a decade defining series, and proves smart can be entertaining.
