A Teacher

When a young, pretty new teacher starts working at a school in appropriate things happen. Kate Mara plays Claire Wilson, a young teacher in a Texas suburban town. Claire's relationship with her husband is on rocky ground and she is feeling vulnerable. One thing leads to another and she finds herself beginning a tutoring relationship with a student. As they get closer they cross the line one night and get physical. This relationship continues to intensify and the student begins to fall in love.

Eventually this relationship is discovered the the authorities get involved. This show does a really great job of showing both sides of the characters and how things like this can happen. This power struggle from an adult and a minor is an interesting storyline and all the acting and characters in this limited series are really strong.
