Arguably the greatest drama in television history, ER was an NBC Thursday night hit for 15 years!

This show started out as a hospital drama but over time became the staple of Must See TV on Thursday nights. So many episodes became instant classics and the career's of Hollywood and TV's finest were launched from this show as well. George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Noah Wyle, Maura Tierney, Anthony Edwards, Eriq La Salle, Linda Cardellini and on and on and on.

ER touched our hearts, made us laugh, cry and fall in love with these characters and their stories. The lives of an ER doctor and life in a Chicago public hospital were shown to America in a way we just never saw before. Hospital Politics, Relationships, personal lives, and how a doctor is forced to work from an intern to fellow to resident and eventually doctor is portrayed in a groundbreaking way.

Show's like Grey's Anatomy and all those that came after ER just various versions of the OG of all medical TV shows. If you never saw ER, get on it. We know great content is made everyday but epic shows like this are one of a kind.
