Grey's Anatomy

16 Seasons and still going! What else do you have to say.  Clearly the people have spoken and they love Grey's Anatomy. This show is a hospital drama for sure but it is also so much more. When this show first started Patrick Dempsey was really the only star on the show in terms of fame but now this show has built so many careers and multiple spin off shows it's crazy.

The show started out in 2005 as a story of Meredith Grey, the daughter of the world renown surgeon that was no longer in the game. Meredith's mom was dealing with Alzheimers and now Meredith was just starting her path at the same hospital her mom's legend came from.

Meredith and her crew of residents had to battle long days, poor treatment by the attending and the constant competition amongst her co-workers for surgery's and special case work. That is just the work though, the real fun with this show comes from the relationships, sexual activity, in fighting, and more. Each episode has it's own arc but of course like a soap opera there are constant long storylines that continue, build and grow on this show.

Over the 16 season many have come and gone but Meredith is still there. The show has reinvented itself a number of times and had some pretty crazy moments of action, violence and sadness too. All in all this will go down with ER as the two best hospital drama's of all time. (MASH is in it's own category)
