Imagine what the world would have been like if the Nazi’s and the Japanese won World War II.  North America is ruled by the Nazi’s from the east coast to somewhere around Colorado and the West coast is controlled by Japan. That is the basis of this thrilling and intense show.

I was reluctant for a while to watch this thinking it was going to be more like a documentary and either boring and really hard to watch.  I was so wrong.  The storyline goes like this, while the Nazi’s rule with the Japanese, an underground revolution is being attempted by American’s that are still in the US. This allows for an exciting flow of this show where you are constantly hoping they can somehow turn this around, even if it seems pretty impossible.  It’s wild to see the Nazi flag on the Empire state building and in Times Square.  This concept is really insane to consider happening but watching this show makes you realize how lucky we are that we won this war. Nazi rules and ways of life instituted into “American Nazi” are really hard to watch and take in.

The acting in this is strong.  The leader of the US Nazi’s played by Rufus Sewell, the woman leading the American revolt played by Alexa Davalos, ChiefInspector played by Joel de la Fuente and so many others were outstanding.  You truly felt like you were there.  In fact, in some moments you find yourself rooting for the wrong people.

This show had 3 seasons and it was a great run.  I really enjoyed it and would totally recommend it.
