One of the funniest shows on TV, easily. Rachel Brosnahan is Mrs. Maisel and Tony Shalhoub as her father lead an insanely funny cast of people in the life of Mrs. Maisel at home and also on the road of standup. Her manager Susie, played by Alex Bornstein is also off the charts funny in this unique sarcastic and lovable way. Before this most of us never knew who Rachel Brosnahan was; now she is a comedic superstar. She uses a quick hitting style that is both cute and harsh all in one but delivered by her everyone just loves it. This show is good for people of all ages. The time period work by the show runners is spot on for the culture and the styles of the late 50's and early 60's in NY and all over the US. Tony Shalhoub's character many times is hysterical. He plays a crazed father, scientist and wealthy upper west side man. Tony and his wife, formerly known as Judith from Two and a Half men have the most wonderful timing together. I could watch them for hours. Every episode of this show is pure gold and you constantly want more. I think about rewatching this show many times. It's just so good.
