Westworld

What is consciousness? What is humanity?

Without any spoilers the story is about Westworld, which is a place where the future and past meet. It's a western themed amusement park populated by android hosts, who allow visitors to live out their fantasies through artificial consciousness where there are no consequences.

This series was captivating. It's kinda hard to talk about without diving into spoilers, but the main theme and question being asked is, what is humanity?

The series is pretty much a dive, deconstruction, and assembly of that question. And it is one of the most interesting things I have seen.  It's a beautiful look at humanity. A gripping story deeply layered to the point where even though you know so much you really don't know anything at all.

And the characters were amazing with top notch acting from an amazing ensemble cast featuring the likes of Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Tessa Thompson, and Aaron Paul.

Everything is beautiful, and this will leave you in awe. Westworld is a very mature look on humanity,  one of the best series you can watch.
