In a small town in Pennsylvania a police chief played by Jeff Daniels deals with a murder and his personal demons at the same time.

Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney as well as a number of other strong actors come together to tell a story about a small town dealing with issues from murder to poverty, to unsafe working environments and a police chief that is caught between the right thing and what he wants.

Although a bit slow, this Showtime original is appealing and certainly keeps the audience captivated and wondering where this is all going. If you enjoyed Your Honor, White Lotus, Mare of Easttown and other shows of similar style you will like this one too.
