Jen and Judy become unlikely friends meeting at a grief support group. With sunny Southern California as the beautiful backdrop, Jen discovers her new friend has secrets that will shock every viewer.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardelinni are excellent in this Netflix original show about loss, friendship, and secrets. After the loss of Jen’s husband, she hesitantly seeks solace in her new quirky gal pal, Judy. As the two lean on each other for support, Judy is holding information from Jen that could upend their lives and relationships.

Both actresses shone in these roles, and left me counting down the days until season 2(premiers May 8th, 2020). Applegate plays anxious and tightly wound perfectly, and it’s no shocker that Cardelinni was cast for the free-spirited loose cannon. You’ll root for both women to succeed in their lives and friendships, even after learning their deepest secrets.
