Tiger King

So, this is easily the show of the quarantine.  Hands down. I held out on this one too.  I just could not understand how this could be good.  Well, sure enough, I watched it and it was really good.  So good that when it ended I even watched the bonus content with Joel McHale that was added on later.

So how does this show about owners of exotic animal farms become so good?  Well, it really starts and ends with Joe Exotic; an Oklahoma zookeeper of exotic tigers, lions, bears, monkeys, alligators and many more animals that happens to be a gun touting, self-proclaimed red neck that is gay and has two husbands that live with him at the zoo.  This guy is a total character that has his own web show and a reality tv crew following him around day and night.

Add to this the stories of a number of other exotic zookeepers, the way they buy and sell these animals, the ugly of life for the workers at the zoos and the one woman in Florida that is trying to stop all of them from breading more cats.  Carol, the woman inFlorida is an odd ball with her own web show and following and is on a mission to shut down these exotic zoos.  She hasher own crazy life stories and past that we learn about.

Oh yeah, I forgot, there are murders, accidental suicides, animal mauling, and fires.  Yeah, it’s a good show.  I get it now, there’s a reason every is in quarantine watching this. Get on it.
