Val Kilmer was in movies such as Real Genius, Top Gun, The Doors, Heat and so many more. His acting and the characters he played we will never forget. What we didn't know is who Val Kilmer really was.

This documentary, created by Val himself incorporates videos that Val had been filming since this all started. Behind the scenes footage on the set and at home. These videos bring a perspective about Val and all these movies that we never really knew. It's incredible interesting to learn more.

Even more powerful is that Val sadly had throat cancer while he was doing a one man show about Mark Twain that was extremely successful. Now, with the help of a breathing tube, Val can live and normal healthy life with one major exception. Currently his voice is gone and when he speaks it's very difficult to understand and does not sound like him at all. Due to this issue, Val's son is the narrator of this documentary and it's really great. Also, because there was so much video footage you see and hear most of the documentary from these videos and not Val's current voice.
