Breaking Bad

When you talk about the greatest shows of all time there's no way you can leave out Breaking Bad.

This thrilling crime drama is as close to perfect as you can get. It follows a chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and his dive into crime after he finds out he has cancer.

The character work is masterful. Walter White is one of the best characters in TV history. The character goes on a journey both in reality and as a person. Watching his downfall and descent is the work of Shakespeare, and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is one of the best sidekicks you can find. The amount of emotion and grit the character has makes him such a real character.

That's only the two main characters. The rest of the characters are just as good, and the dynamic between them is amazing. This feels like a real family stuck in this situation.

Story wise the series might be even better. There's just so much to sink your teeth in. Every situation feels like it's life or death. No spoilers, but man do things get intense.

In the end AMC's Breaking Bad proves it's one of the greatest shows of all time.
