Defending Jacob is an 8 episode thriller that keeps you constantly wondering did he do it or not. Who did it?  How will this end? A strong cast lead by Chris Evans and with supporting roles by Cherry Jones, J.K. Simmons and many more this story is a total thriller. I was on the edge of my seat (couch) and could not get enough of this.

The characters of Jacob, played by Jaeden Martell and the mother by Michell Dockery are so well done. Jacob is very dark and seems to be handling all this madness in an odd unassuming way and the mother is all over the place as more news and evidence comes out. This limited series does such a wonderful job exploring this concept of what would you do if this was you. You love your child and you believe they are not capable of this crime but as you hear different information, how do you stay strong?

Does Love overpower facts? Are the facts actually true? How do you and your husband handle this together and also act at home while this is all unraveling? What a great show, I definitely recommend this to everyone. Apple TV is on a roll!
