Knights, Castles, and Dragons. Game of Thrones will surely ignite the inner geek in you.

Game of Thrones is a lot of things, but if I only had one word to describe it, it would have to be Phenomenon. Before the likes of Stranger Things took over the internet Game of Thrones was reinventing what it meant to be a fan.

For those of you who were unfortunate enough to not see this series yet, then my recommendation would be to clear a weekend and finish it immediately.

Based on the novel A Song of Fire and Ice by George R. R. Martin the series follows A web of alliances and conflicts among the noble dynasties of Westeros, either vying to claim the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms or fighting for independence from it.

Masterpiece. The only thing acceptable I can say in terms of quality is masterpiece. This is one of the most complex series I have ever had the privilege to watch.

The characters are so complex. Everyone has so much to them in terms of motivations and goals to the point that the line between good and evil is oftentimes blurred. You end up getting invested in every character. Even the ones you absolutely hate end up drawing you in, because so much of the series is just interesting.

Plot wise the story is even more complex than the characters. Having multiple overlapping arcs the plot is like a spider web, but the execution is beautiful. From dragons and huge Lord of the Rings like battles to stories of love and revenge the series holds no punches.

You're given so much yet it's so easy to digest. It's like watching a beautiful painting come to life. Not to mention the groundbreaking visual  effects. After eight seasons Game of Thrones cements it's legacy as an all time classic, and a masterpiece.

This is a series that you can't miss.
